ASUS Eee PC 1000HE Is at Amazon.com for Pre-Order

Today it is possible to make a pre- order of the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE netbook, provided with a 10-inch screen, a new Intel Atom processor, and a battery life of "up to 9.5 hours at Amazon.com.

Eee PC 1000HE models predominantly varies in color EPC1000HE-BLK005X is black and EPC1000HE-BLU002X is blue. As consistent with the product list presented at Amazon, under formation of the popular mini-laptop the emphasis was made on an unnamed Intel Mobile Chipset, which has pretypified for the new one. On the strength of the gadget are the Atom N280 CPU with a 1.66GHz clock speed and a 667MHz FSB, which is up from 1.6GHz and 533MHz of the older N270. The Windows XP Home-based EPC1000HE-BLK005X and EPC1000HE-BLU002X have a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of DDR2 memory, and a 1.3MP web camera. The screen resolution is1024x600 pixels and is rigged with LED backlight.

All is in a state of flux; nothing is constant, and Asustek's 3.2-pound netbook is able to work the 9.5-hour battery life using a 8700mAH battery and Super Hybrid Engine technology that enables better power efficiency. Among other things, there is a 92%-sized keyboard, multi-touch contactless keyboard, 802.11n wireless connection, Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, an MMC/SD (SDHC) media card reader, and a VGA output.

Each of two Asus Eee PC 1000HE models is available at $374.00 after $25 instant off.
