Aspire Timeline Series Released by Acer

Currently, the Aspire Timeline Series, which includes 13.3-, 14-, and 15.6-inch thin-and-light laptops with "more than 8 hours" of battery life, was presented by Acer.

The Acer Aspire Timeline comes with the GS45 chipset with the GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, the Core 2 Solo ULV SU3500 CPU, up to 500GB of hard drive space or a 64GB solid state drive, the Intel Core 2 Duo ultra low voltage SU9400 or depending on model. You should know that the notebooks use up to 8GB of DDR3 memory. There is no an optical drive in the 13.3-incher, while the 14" and 15.6" models sport a DVD burner. The Timeline laptops have LED-backlight displays with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Among other specifications there are Bluetooth, a built-in web camera, Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, WiMAX are present in select systems, HDMI, S/PDIF, a multi-gesture touchpad, 802.11n WiFi connectivity, Dolby Sound Room technology, a 5-in-1 media card reader and VGA outputs. The 15.6-inch version has four USB port, whereas smaller models have three USBs.

According to Acer, it has the Smart Power key for power on-demand functionality, and Laminar Wall Jet technology to reorient air conditioning along the bottom side. Moreover the Aspire Timeline is less than one inch thick its thinnest point, rising just 0.2" at its highest. A brushed aluminum coverage and weigh 3.5lbs (13.3"), 4.2lbs (14") and 5.3lbs (15.6") with a six-cell battery are its features. It works by means of Windows Vista Home Premium OS and is available less than $1,000. Unfortunately, we have no date's information.
